Yup, we sure have been busy!

Batter Blaster and Round Rock Express unite! We’ve been giving out pancakes and prizes at Round Rock Express games, the minor league baseball team of the Austin area. Look for the Batter Blaster tent next time you go to cheer on the Round Rock Express to get some delicious, free pancakes.

You can also learn about our monthly “Share Your Story” online contest we are holding during the 2010 Round Rock Express baseball season. You will have the chance to win great prizes! If you don’t live in Central Texas and/or cannot make it to Round Rock Express games, don’t fret! You can still enter the contest and will still be able to win prizes.

Learn how to enter your theme-related story and photo below:

• Contestants enter their submission by emailing their story and photograph: shareyourstory@batterblaster.com. Both the story and photo should be relevant to that month’s designated theme.
  • Month of June: Teamwork
  • Month of July: Leadership
  • Month of August: Sportsmanship
• Contestants must be at least 13 years of age or older. If they are younger than this, then they must have parental consent with, or at the very least, a digital signature prior to entering the contest.
• There are Honorable Mention winners chosen weekly that receive prizes. Batter Blaster evaluates entries weekly and recognizes a contestant’s story that illustrates that month’s theme.
• There are Top 25 entries selected and posted to be voted on by friends and family. One can “vote” by adding a comment online at www.batterblaster.com/shareyourstory to the desired entrant’s story.
• There is one winner selected monthly that receives the Grand Prize consisting of a family-pack of free tickets to a Round Rock Express game and a Batter Blaster breakfast kit, along with being honored at the game and on our blog!
