Our take on Tiramisu

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

tiramisu

Get ready for Batter Blaster Tiramisu. We’ve taken the traditional recipe for Tiramisu and made it a little easier to make for your breakfast or dessert. Instead of using certain ingredients like mascarpone cheese or coffee liqueur, we’ve adjusted the recipe so it’s more whatever-is-in-your-fridge friendly. However, if you have these ingredients in your fridge, use them!

Ingredients:
Batter Blaster
Cream Cheese (or mascarpone cheese)
Whipping Cream
Coffee (or coffee liqueur)
Maple Syrup
Cocoa Powder (or shaved chocolate)
Chocolate Chips (optional)

1. Mix cream cheese and whipping cream together. Add a small amount of sugar to the mixture to make it sweeter if desired.
2. Add some splashes of coffee to the cream until desired flavor is reached and whip together.
3. Cook 3 Batter Blaster pancakes (or however many you want to layer). Optional: Add chocolate chips to the pancakes.
4. Layer the pancakes, putting spoonfuls of the cream mixture in between each layer.
5. Pour maple syrup on top, and garnish with cocoa powder or shaved chocolate.

Enjoy!
